  • At school institutions (Smart City’s Field & Infrastructure Provider) in Tokyo, the risk of heat stroke increased due to the intense summer heat and the number of cases of heat stroke in educational settings is high. As a result, it is difficult for each student to properly grasp the risk of heat stroke and to prevent heat stroke. Each institution intended to prevent heat stroke based on the following objectives.
     Elementary schools:We would like to prevent accidents caused by heatstroke during physical education classes and school events.
     Junior high schools:We would like to improve the efficiency of physical condition management of students by linking data with the school system.
     High school:We would like to prevent accidents in club activities and improve information literacy through the use of ICT devices.

  • Biodata Bank, .Inc is a startup that offers "Heat Warning Watch Canaria Plus”.
  • The "Heat Warning Watch Canaria Plus” was implemented at school institutions in Tokyo to control the physical condition of students. By having students wear the device at school and estimating the rise in core body temperature, it is possible to accurately measure the risk of heatstroke, thereby realizing heatstroke prevention based on data.
